The the Onion's parent company, I can't remember the name of it, purchased InfoWars via auction and plans to turn it into a satire site and channel. I don't understand the logic behind this. Alex Jones already launched his new network using his name just like Tucker Carlson did and James O'Keefe did which was smart. I am failing to see what they are going to gain from this. It seems like a waste of money just to give a middle finger to the guy. He already moved on too.

I don't understand everything that is going on but I trust those three that you named.

It seems like this was some sort of scam or something and it is being brought to court. Like the Onion was not meant to purchase it, they don't even have money to put down for it. It was outlined as "you'll get your money when we profit" which makes no sense. None of this does.

I think someone on the inside tried cutting this company a deal in an attempt to embarrass Alex Jones and it backfired. But I have not looked into everything. I don't follow Alex or Info Wars as much as I used to.

Alex Jones is now suing the Onion and the families of the Sandy Hook shooting.

From what I could understand, the families waved their debt Alex Jones owes them to the Onion's parent company in an attempt to buy Info Wars just to embarrass Alex but because of how they went about it (illegally) he has grounds to go after them. This is a wild story lol
