No it would not be a problem. Animal life breathes out carbon dioxide and plant life absorbs this, removes the carbon part for food and releases the oxygen for us to breathe in again. It is a system of exchange and balance. The present problem is a surplus of carbon in the atmosphere, much of it from man made sources, that is why carbon removal schemes usually include more planting and protecting nature.

I have come across this, a long time ago. I used to read lots of UFO and alien theory books in my teens. I am in my late sixties now. The writer Brinsley le Poer Trench had some interesting theories. I wonder if this goes back to him?

I had an interesting chat with somebody not so long ago. The subject turned to UFOs and I was expecting the usual stuff but this was different. He told me about how a group of technically minded people had examined the most reliable sightings of such craft. They liked military and civil pilots especially but included others. One thing comes out of these accounts that they all picked up on. It was that in every selected incident there was a time or times that the craft must have broken the sound barrier. Yet there are no reports of this happening. The conclusion so far has been that if these craft are made by intelligent beings it is not simply a matter of being faster but that the technology is at present utterly beyond our comprehension. It places them in a situation where speculation is virtually useless.

Orbs come up a lot in people's accounts of the supernatural. I have never seen one in real life but, I wonder if there is a connection to the following. Some years ago I went on a residential course where we were introduced to various meditational practices. One afternoon, the subject was Shamanic journeying. Something of which I had no experience of. After a brief lesson we were told what to do and a CD of rapid drumming was played. I was totally absorbed by this and entered a strange landscape where everything on the left was real forest but on the right it looked like a crude painting. On the right was a man wearing a square mask. At his feet was a glowing ball. I instantly recalled a dream from my early childhood where from a bus window I could see a glowing ball in some woodland. I can't explain it, but I am certain that it was the same ball of light and that it has some significance. I was very moved by all this and surprised nobody else in the group experienced anything. I took a week long Shamanic practices course shortly afterwards but I was never able to get anything like the same level of experience. Neither have I found any information on orbs in these circumstances.

I have had quite a few experiences of varying kinds over the years. The last was three years ago. Over the course of a few days, several electrical devices became unplugged, twice pools of water appeared in my kitchen without any apparent cause and a chess piece that I keep as a memento suddenly appeared on my living room floor. The last event was, I saw, just for a fraction of a second, a faint image of a girl also in my living room. This happened around the time of my mother's death. I have no idea if there was a connection.
