tmcom
Ok, after a year of lock-downs and other nonsense, l finally went into Melbourne for a day off, (l also went there since our power hungry, Premier wants to bring in international students, which will most likely lock us up again). This is Flinders Street station, an iconic landmark, that is thankfully being restored. This is what it looks like from Federation Square. I had some nice, doughnut things and a coffee from a coffee shop with this view... The bridge is Princess, Bridge. After that l made my way across the road, (with the concrete bollards). And eventually got to Melbourne Central, (this was taken at about 5,30pm, which is usually packed, but is fairly empty). After that l went to Collins Place and spent over an hour enjoying pleasant surroundings and great views of the city, which after a year of Dan Andrews police state, was a very welcome relief. Melbourne will probably be off limits fairly soon, but l am glad l got there before round two.
