Quote

During the COVID-19 pandemic, rampant disinformation and misinformation on social media undermined public health efforts to contain and treat the virus. More than 4 in 5 Australians reported having experienced COVID-19 misinformation in the 18 months to June 2021.

I won't state the obvious but suffice to say l have made a few changes.

Abo's "Saving my Arse Bill" as l like to call it won't pass into law so l guess l can remove the Covid subject block so guests can see it again.

Freedom to the people.

Do we know how to do that?

Invision is based overseas anyway so it already is, but l live in Australia so have to adhere to the idiots running this country's laws.

So because you reside there, you can get in trouble for not correcting people? Is that how I understand it? I just read it.

I don't think they can expect places like this to filter people to such a harsh degree. Make the sections private for non-members and put a disclaimer that directs people to "information" they deemed to be corrected at the top of if.

No l would get in trouble for having a section on Covid misinformation, (facts) or the squished bill wouldn't affect individuals only the CEO's or owners endorsing it, (l know vague law or basically l would get in trouble if they figured it that way).

So l could have got fined or imprisoned for pushing information that doesn't fit the mass media norm, (vaccine is safe and affective).

That seems a bit strange IMO. Like a lot of what was deemed correct around covid by non-MSM and government people and was told was misinformation ended up being correct. This is why you can't put laws on science or studies, they always change.

I don't want you to get in trouble over this nonsense though.

Truth is the enemy of nonsense.

Oh okay so if you say stuff yourself or promote "misinformation" then it is a problem.

This all feels very 1984 and I can't believe other nations are doing it but then again the US came close. We just have a ton of people and plenty of them are not for it so I guess that saved us for now.
