Of course this could be faked, (impressive for the cart racing) but once you delve into this, it seems like a plausible and easy to test concept.

The blind are not technically seeing just sensing.

A skeptic optometrist, (and staff) test him out, and he can even read.

I gave it a quick try, and there is something to it, but you are literally using your hands energy to sense everything, which is limited.

I mean we have tech that allows people to hear so I am sure we are heading in this direction. It is great for people who have no other options.
