  1. There are far too many people like this and these are the people that are ruining society for everyone else. They believe their are "informed" and spread lies and get angry when you question the narratives they were fed by the people that took money directly from these pharmaceutical companies. The conflict of interest is enough for any critical thinker to present questions but that is it... These people are not critical thinkers.
  2. If I were to mention anything about Biden or Covid or the shots in a negative light, I will have my one cousin snap "WHAT ABOUT TRUMP!? YOU BELIEVE IN CONSPIRACY AND NOT TRUSTED SCIENCE!? WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR NEWS - MEMES?"... Got into an argument with him over the summer and he lost his mind. Like anytime someone criticizes Biden he pulls out the magic "WHAT ABOUT TRUMP!?" I am sorry but people like this are either insane or completely mind controlled.
  3. What will happen is their currency will drop in value but fear not! There is a new "stable coin" of digital money they can offer you that will retain value and you won't have to worry your pretty little head about physical money every again! See where I am going with this?
  4. They are pushing through that minimum income thing as well that will give everyone, working or not working, $2,000 a month. This will be given to people that do not work at all as well as people that earn $10,000 a month. Now my question is, do they tax this at the end of the year? Cause people will end up owing them money if so. Which is going to cause problems outside of the obvious that is giving away money for nothing while taking it from the people that work. I don't know how taxes work in Canada.
  5. Mine was mostly quite. We have smaller ones every year it seems. I am not made about it but I just wish there was less bickering and political snaps. Like most people in my family are conservative or moderate so when we have a few that are to the left that show up, things get snippy and it reminds me of high school. Either way it was a good Christmas. Nothing bad happened.
  6. I am worried about this. Like really worried. I feel like people don't understand what civil war is or would look like today but it would be bad. Especially when you already have a bunch of people and companies sewing racial and political tension. Things can get really really bad!!
  7. I think presents should mainly be for kids and couples (exchanging with each other). That being said, if you bring this up you will likely start a fight. I tried in 2019 I think it was and I kept telling my family I didn't want anything and I am not doing gifts that year and a bunch of them got super mad at me so I ended having to buy everything last minute and was struggling to pay bills for the several months that followed. I like Christmas. I like the family stuff. I like having a family dinner. I just hate the gifts. Everyone is selfish and greedy about it.
  8. So this is back on the table with the US giving Ukraine even more money, even though they already lost. Russia might get fed up and hit Ukraine with nukes and this will drag in surrounding areas and eventually the US will be going after them. Then what? Will Russia nuke the US? No. That would be stupid. They will very likely collude with China and attack our infrastructure allowing for the American people to destroy themselves. They will attack power grids. That is all it would take. Then we would have a nation of people who are already divided based on race and economics saying "what about me?"... It would lead to a bloodbath and it would happen in days, not months or years.... Most cities in America would become completely destroyed in 10 days or less. Then it will spread. We will have civil war breaking out all over the country. China would move in on Taiwan and back their currency with gold when we are at our weakest. Russia would also back China in this. Am I fearing the worst? This all seems to be on the table right now.
  9. I am probably prematurely worrying, I know. Like there is a chance this does get out of hand but I probably won't be alive when it happens, talking like 60+ years out or something but still, I am worried lol
  10. Bit of an update happened: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/12/8/us-prosecutors-file-new-charges-against-hunter-biden-cnn-says So I guess they are going after him for tax fraud but I know he is guilty of way more than just this.
  11. So I remember Elon talking about these things but I had not seen them in action I don't think ever, not like this. This is somewhat freaking me out. Not going to lie, could be down to me watching movies like iRobot and Terminator but still... Is anyone else worried about this with AI advancing at the same time?
  12. They aren't going to change. At least not right away. They can't. They hired mostly activists so they will not be able to fire them without getting sued. I think the strike helped them clear some out but this is a problem that is not going away anytime soon.
  13. I don't know if anyone here plays those games. I played the last 2 of them, GTA 4 and 5. Never played the earlier titles. I just mainly enjoy playing through the story and then just interacting with the city. This one looks massive and they really did make it look like Miami. Even with the girls "humping" the cars lol It isn't coming our until 2025 though which is a shame. I don't play much these days so I was looking forward to this game :(
  14. I guess this depends on how you look at things. I mean to me, the past and the present are one in the same thing in many regards because our future relies on both and as a collective, destroying history or rewriting it never did us any favors.
  15. Easier said than done. I mean some people you can't even tell are lying and could follow them for awhile before finding out. Politicians, media people, etc. it is a mess out there.
  16. I think the problem with humanity is not learning from the past more than anything. If we are unable to learn from past mistakes in our day to day lives, we are doomed to repeat them. I think the same can be said with history but it changes over time so it doesn't actually repeat/rhyme but the same mistakes happen again and again such as with communism being tried over and over again.
  17. I think this sort of thing is common around the world, seeing UFOs around airports. If I had to guess, I would consider this to be some sort of military nonsense from some government. Maybe the US, China, or somewhere else.
  18. Isn't there talk about him incorporating Bitcoin into the economy? If so, that would probably be worth keeping an eye on. Their economy is a mess and while it would be easier to fix than say the US or Canadian economy, I cannot see him getting all this done. They would need years of people like him in place to fix it cause harsh big measures will result in short term loss everyone we feel and many will suffer because of.
  19. Maybe it is just as simple as we need God more than God needs us... In that man is not designed to be without faith because that hole for God will just be filled with something else. I just hope these destructive trends reverse soon for all our sake!
  20. I am curious. I know it is different around the world and even state to state in America. When I was growing up, you can easily provide for a family and own a house and even have health insurance making 48k a year. That is what my dad made. We were living in a nice area too and my mom only did side work at home making like $500 a month. There was three of us kids as well as a few dogs and a cat. Two cars as well. According to averages and mortgage rates coupled with insurance costs, you need a minimum of 85k per year if you want to buy a house in a nice area but you need even more if you want to raise a family. I don't know if I will ever be able to afford a house much less a family.
  21. There is an image of a boot stomping down on someone while he paints the bottom of the shoe... That is this. These people don't understand what they are even agreeing with and God forbid they ever have to find out. Part of me feels like they need to though in order to wake up. Weak men create hard times indeed!
  22. A friend on another forum posted about it as well. The poor girl died last night. If I was her parents I would be absolutely disgusting with the UK and leave. Go to Italy or somewhere else where they actually value children. I just can't believe this...
  23. Has there been any update yet on this? Like did they stop and reverse this action? Someone told me about it yesterday and I thought "This cannot be real!" but with how illogical our world governments are, I should not be surprised.
  24. Both are older though. It seems like millennials and gen z have no one. I mean at least we have some older people that are trying to move us away from this mess but it is very few and far in between. Sad times!
  25. Gotta do what you gotta do. Alternatively, just host your forum on a server outside of Australia.
