tmcom Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Last movie l saw or tried to watch was Cars 3, my advise, give it a miss, too stupid. Quote
tmcom Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Out on DVD, probably because of the ....flu thing. Looks good, but l am not into subtitles, so... Quote
tmcom Posted August 22, 2020 Author Posted August 22, 2020 Bullet with Steve McQueen, was my last one and for the last time, or a good cast, but it dragged out somewhat, a bit like Dirty Harry in a wheel chair. Quote
tmcom Posted August 23, 2020 Author Posted August 23, 2020 Saw this a few weeks back, great movie, and worth renting. Quote
tmcom Posted August 31, 2020 Author Posted August 31, 2020 We may be able to see it this summer, but time will tell, but either way, sure it is stupid, but clever. And one of the previous ones had Archimedes, so... This is just out on DVD, and l will take a squiz tonight, (clearly with Covid, they ditched the theatre release). Quote
tmcom Posted September 12, 2020 Author Posted September 12, 2020 Last one, Wall Street 2, which was set in 2007, (movie was made in 2010) with strong parallels with present day. Although l love Tesla more than Blue steel, lol. Quote
tmcom Posted September 19, 2020 Author Posted September 19, 2020 Outland, 198,...something, can't beat the classics. Quote
tmcom Posted September 25, 2020 Author Posted September 25, 2020 Just watched it, Back to The Future 2 on steriods is the best way to describe this one, well worth a look, (just released on DVD). And yeah the pig is cute. Quote
tmcom Posted October 16, 2020 Author Posted October 16, 2020 Just watched this. And sure it has robots that have machine guns and lousy aiming abilities, but still a good movie overall,...to rent. Quote
tmcom Posted October 23, 2020 Author Posted October 23, 2020 Good movie, which even makes fun of similar movies, well worth renting, maybe even buying, although if l compared this with Skyscraper, it would be in second place. Quote
tmcom Posted November 6, 2020 Author Posted November 6, 2020 I know another time movie, but still a clever storyline. Well worth renting. Quote
tmcom Posted November 21, 2020 Author Posted November 21, 2020 Just watched Time Kill with Bruce Willis, which isn't bad, with the usual change the world by being an ar.....le commentary and cliche ridden military chatter, but it kills two hours, and even though it isn't worth buying, probably worth renting. Quote
tmcom Posted December 5, 2020 Author Posted December 5, 2020 Went to see this today, (after about 6 months) even though l was concerned about the theater smelling like hospital grade disinfectant, and the police ready to break a few necks, but thankfully apart from having to give my details three ..... times, that was the only hassle. Clever movie, and worth the price of admission. Wonder Woman 1984, and Matrix 4, are being released again or a stalled release this year, and even though the first is pretty silly, l may take a look at the second, if it captures the magic of the first two. Quote
tmcom Posted December 10, 2020 Author Posted December 10, 2020 Saw this today, and not a bad movie, or this has a few concepts from 80's horror flicks. Probably Silent Running/The Matrix/Twilight Zone stuff. Quote
tmcom Posted December 24, 2020 Author Posted December 24, 2020 One part of this, as this video hints is pushing it, but that is typical Borat. But other parts of this movie are gold. And yes Johnny the Monkey, has his own website. http://jonnythemonkey.com/ Quote Included in his credits are King Khram in 3D, which "was boxing office smash hit and sell out all seven movie theaters in a Kazakhstan," and Almaty Summer which, "was huge blockbluster success in my country and earn almost 180 US dollars." [sic] Quote "She earn money not by pull plough in field, but star in new moviefilm Tag. It is as funny as joke about chair that walk with shoes. #tagfilm" [sic] And she is a real actor, although it is hard to tell, if others are. And this film is unsuitable for children under the age of three, including Monkeys. Quote
tmcom Posted January 9, 2021 Author Posted January 9, 2021 This is a must see for anyone who believes in the Mandella Affect. Clever movie, even though there was a fair amount of unnecessary shooting. Quote
tmcom Posted February 4, 2021 Author Posted February 4, 2021 Saw Brewster's Millions again, classic, (and what can l say Wometco did well buying out Icebergs International to secure,....never mind, lol). Quote
tmcom Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 Taking the p...s out of aliens, can't believe l missed this. Quote
tmcom Posted February 20, 2021 Author Posted February 20, 2021 Good movie, and the visuals, (best computer animated dinosaurs l have ever seen). Good movie to rent, but not to buy. Quote
tmcom Posted February 26, 2021 Author Posted February 26, 2021 1986, and a fun cop movie, a bit like Beverly Hills Cops with more clever one liners. Well worth renting and probably buying. Quote
tmcom Posted March 6, 2021 Author Posted March 6, 2021 Just saw Paul, (trailer above) a fun movie overall, and worth renting or streaming. Quote
tmcom Posted March 20, 2021 Author Posted March 20, 2021 Just saw this one, and well, the fight scenes dragged on, and it was ok, or it had a fairly good story, but don't bother buying it. Quote
tmcom Posted March 25, 2021 Author Posted March 25, 2021 Yep, and it is good. Worth the price of admission, (ignore the idiot critic reviews). Quote
tmcom Posted April 17, 2021 Author Posted April 17, 2021 What can l say, Nicolas Cage won't shut in this movie, lol. Worth renting, but not to buy. Quote
tmcom Posted May 7, 2021 Author Posted May 7, 2021 Just watched this, (one of the songs from this is in the 60's, 70's Songs thread). A fun movie for a laying low from the Mob kind of movie, and made in the 80's depicting the same time period, (on Netflix l believe, and YouTube, (paid one)). Quote
